Just thought I'd try this on the chance that someone very kind on here might be able to help.

I'm based in the UK and currently need 2 x 200cm Opti zips for my Albatros (for the tent-side attachments of the triangular windbreaks), and have found what I need on Marktplaats here: https://www.marktplaats.nl/a/caravans-e ... z-enz.html. However the seller is saying they won't post to outside the Netherlands despite me offering substantially more than the asking price.

Would anyone based in the Netherlands consider receiving and forwarding these to me please? I will obviously pay you for your trouble?

Thanks for that link - very useful. I did speak to the Opti manufacturers and they advised that secondhand might be the best option, as the current zip patterns may not match what De Waarde used.

On further investigation it seems that the Opti S80 is the same zip that has been in production since the late 80s - all the variation apparently relates to Coats Industrial's current product catalague. As a result, I have ordered the required zips from Esvo camping who do indeed ship to the UK. Thanks again for the link to their site!

Just posting this for anyone in the same situation in future - the Esvo customer service and delivery speed was very impressive with the zips turnly up safely yesterday, but unfortunately it seems De Waarde used a different Opti model to the S80s (it was still worth a try as the zips weren't expensive, but for now the hunt continues - at least until I move to plan B of replacing the entire zip but the machinist costs will be a lot more).

Perhaps you can remove the original zippers from the tent and you can sew the new zippers on it?
