Looking for some advice on the Pimpelmees

It will probably be just me and one child camping for a few years and so wondered if the Pimpelmees would be big enough? It will probably be a few days camping in the summer only this year.

I know there is no vario option so wondered if others have used a tarp or had one made somewhere?

I am also thinking about a used Lepelaar as we have had several in the past and loved it. But it’s a bit big for a few days camping in my experience.

Anyway, I would really appreciate any thoughts, advice, photos etc from any Pimpelmees owners. How much space is there inside? And under the canopy for sitting?

Yes I saw those thanks.

Difficult to gauge the space inside as it doesn't show a mat inside or a chair under the porch.

It is not a tent were you can stand under the awning. But for a small tent it is quite large.

Maybe you can explain the intended use. What are you looking for in a tent? What kind of weather. How much stuff do you carry.

These personal preferences also make it a suitable tent (or not).
The Kuifmees is the same model but larger.

As the size under the canope is a larger than that of the Koningsstern, I would think it fits for weekends / small holidays away with 2 people very nicely. It should fit two separate mattrasses with space left for lugage inside also. But as Rolf stated also, it could depend on what you would like to bring (how large are your chairs/table/cooking equipment), what the weather would be (can you sit outside / under the canope) or do you need to be inside, etc... And do you want the windshields on one or both sides also, or just the basic tent.

Well, stuff to think about, but nice things to plan!
